This shows Rowley's House looking into a courtyard, parts of which have now been demolished. The main building is half-timbered with diamond-shaped panes in the leaded-light windows. On the right is a low shed and part of a brick building. The courtyard is cobbled and children are playing amongst hens, ducks and pigeons. Steps lead up to another brick building on the left. Four adults are working or sitting around the courtyard.
