Ludlow. A view of Ludlow from the far bank of the River Teme with the castle in the foreground and the church behind. A man is fishing on a ridge of stone which runs into the water. St. Laurence is the largest parish church in Shropshire and perpendicular in style. Ludlow Castle was built about 1085 by Roger de Montgomery, Earl of Shrewsbury.
