From song & rhyme for babes in arms to talks and lectures for grown-up culture enthusiasts, our learning and education programme at Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery offers something for all ages.
Our Early Years programme aims to grow young minds and stimulate the senses via story and role-play in workshops such as Mini-Mammoths which is perfect for parent and toddlers/babies.

Our talks and lectures programme, run jointly with the Friends of Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery offer a rare opportunity to discover the stories behind our exhibitions and to explore the hidden secrets of our collections. We also run a talks programme alongside some of our special exhibitions to give enable you to delve deeper into the history behind the exhibits.
