New Curators

What are New Curators?

New Curators are a dedicated museum volunteers who worked with staff to explore new ways of displaying the museum’s historic collections.

Every Picture tells the Story

A new focus group of older volunteer curators have come together over the past year to discuss, explore and create a new exhibition that was installed in Rowleys House. For the new museum they have selected twelve paintings, and will develop creative interpretation to accompany these images. Much of this involves interviewing a number of people who are not artists, but can relate in some way to the painting(s).
